New York City-based Jelly Kelly crafts music that feels like meeting a stranger who somehow knows your favorite song. What began as a side project for Monogold frontman Keith Kelly has grown into a full-fledged sonic force. Their sound melds moody synth textures, angular guitars, and hypnotic rhythms into a gritty, post-punk-soaked indie rock sound that resists easy categorization. It’s catchy without trying, cool without effort. Alongside Keith, the lineup includes drummer Jared Apuzzo (armed with double bass and roto toms), guitarist Nicolas Dube, bassist Marina Ross, and keyboardist Brendan Sullivan. Together they create a sound that’s both expansive and layered.
